There stands a real good chance that the conservative base in the Appellate Courts could be replaced by the liberals. I don't know about anybody else but I don't like the sound of that. In light of all the rumors and innuendos that have been flying around about Obama's religious beliefs, I am looking forward to watching the actual swearing in on the 20th. My question is, will he actually put his hand on the Holy Bible and swear before God and country that he "will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, so help me God"? Will we hear of unprecedented changes to the ceremony to accommodate his sensibilities or will he just roll with the normal convention of things and swear in as his 42 other predecessors did? I guess we'll see.....
