I thought Obama was going to approach all our enemies in a completely open and new way. Now he threatens Iran with nuclear retaliation of they attack Israel. Huh? So much AGAIN for "Change". Click on the title to go to the story.

This is a page dedicated to not being politically correct. I make no apologies. I feel there is way too much of that today. If you are easily offended, do not read this "Blog". It is full of political and social observations and comments. I am in my own way, attempting to educate all who want to know how our government works and how we can regain control so we can remain a government that is "Of The People, By the People, and For the People.

Dear God, here we go........ I found this article after I published the OP-ED below. Click on the title to go to the story. If this is allowed to happen, the Dems/Liberals will have put the nail in the coffin that completely kills our economy and our way of life. The emission cutback levels are so crazy that no business will be able to afford to stay in operation. What is left of our industrial base will move to countries that are not effected by this pact and that will be the end of that. We're done.............. The liberal, tree hugging, flat earth, can't we all just get along bunch are going to kill our country.
It looks like our President Elect is looking to Al Gore to be his environmental advisor or something of that sort. Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 with his so called documentary. Since then, there has been a lot of scientists come forward stating that global warming is a myth and we are quite possibly going into a mini ice age, the like was experienced in the dark ages around 1600AD. Well, if there was anybody who could get us to sign on fully to the Kyoto Protocol, he could do it. Here is the address to the wiki info on it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Protocol) The United States is a signator to the Protocol but has always resisted ratifying it because of the huge burden it would place on industry to meet the pollution requirements while "developing" countries were exempt. In reality it could make a loaf of bread cost over $5 just because of all the pollution control equipment a normal bakery would have to install just to do business. That is just the tip of the iceberg. I'm afraid that the incoming administration will not only sign us into some crazy "Global Warming" agreement, but destroy what is left of our industrial base and completely sell us out.....I think this could happen "in a heartbeat" without us citizens having a say. Are we Americans ready to dump our sovereignty and join the rest of the world in a global political society? In my opinion, the two oceans we have separating us from the rest of the world has served us pretty well. The talk abroad is questioning whether the United States should join an organization patterned after the European Union. They are even thinking of what verbiage should be used to make the idea more palatable to us gun toting types. Click on the title to go to the story.

In light of all the rumors and innuendos that have been flying around about Obama's religious beliefs, I am looking forward to watching the actual swearing in on the 20th. My question is, will he actually put his hand on the Holy Bible and swear before God and country that he "will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, so help me God"? Will we hear of unprecedented changes to the ceremony to accommodate his sensibilities or will he just roll with the normal convention of things and swear in as his 42 other predecessors did? I guess we'll see.....

2. The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not. Thomas Jefferson
3. It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world. Thomas Jefferson
4. I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. Thomas Jefferson
5. My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government. Thomas Jefferson
6. No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. Thomas Jefferson
7. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. Thomas Jefferson
8. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Thomas Jefferson
9. To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical. Thomas Jefferson
And One Very Interesting Quote
In light of the present financial crisis, it's interesting to read what Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:
'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.
We will find out this Monday if the Supreme Court will hear the argument as to the President Elects eligibility for office due to his citizenship controversy. My guess is that the Judges will have decided not to hear the case. I believe that they my be trying to avoid any Constitutional entanglements and side step the issue. I believe that this issue must be addressed in order to maintain the viability of the Constitution AND the Supreme Court. If this issue is not addressed to the satisfaction of the public, the peoples confidence in the Supreme Court will plummet, not to mention what that effect that would have on the Constitution. Either way, this issue must be settled openly and definitively by this court to everyone's satisfaction. Click on the title to go to the story

POLLS
Who listens to polls ? I don’t care.
Because I know this, they are not fair.
The pollsters seek truth, knowledge to gain.
Of issues we know not, they try to explain.
But listen carefully, to what the poll shows.
